Some sweeteners like Sucralose, Saccharin and Aspa Some sweeteners like Sucralose, Saccharin and Aspartane send confusing messages to the brain as they don’t curb sweet tooth cravings. Our brain has "reward pathways" which are like roads for our neurons to travel to our brains to tell us we are excited so release happy chemicals. When we consume sugar we activate the reward pathways and we feel happy. Sweeteners only partially activate our reward pathways, as they are sweet (we feel happy) but they have no calories so don't provide energy. Because we are't fully activating reward pathways, sweeteners trick our brain which will either cause us to overeat in order to feel full or we will then crave even more sweetness later on.

ALCOHOL I am not here to say you can’t enjoy a ALCOHOL I am not here to say you can’t enjoy a drink (I’m typing this as I drink a G&T) I’m just making people aware of the calories A lot of my clients tell me how well they do during the week with food and a calorie deficit but then also tell me they aren’t losing weight. For some clients they forgot or don’t think it’s important to log their drinks. Unfortunately alcohol has calories 🙄🙄 Alcohol has 7 calories per gram An example for you, 4 shots of spirits , no mixer , 40% alcohol, 120ml = 48ml of alcohol x 7 = 336 calories. This is where some people are going wrong with their “calorie deficit”. If you enjoy a drink then make it fit into your goals and your plan. Cheers to the weekend, I’m off to enjoy my drinks 🍸 🍷

You don't tear the ab muscles you experience a seperation . No need to freak out, abdominal separation is normal. So normal that 100% of women have DRAM in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy (Mota et al, 2015) Stomach muscles stretch during pregnancy to make room for the baby but the degree of separation varies to each women Factors that affect the degree ❊ Baby growth ❊ Hormonal changes ❊ Genetics ❊ Weight changes ❊ Constipation ❊ Straining/pushing down ❊ Heavy lifting ❊ High load of abdominal exercises (planks etc) So don't freak out just find yourself a good practitioner to help you during pregnancy and post natal
